Okay God… we still aren’t really sure we know what you’re doing or where you’re calling us, but we trust you anyway.
Our lease is up November 12th. We can’t stay here due to finances, our apartment is too small, and frankly, we just don’t want to. God has shut so many doors and over the past few months, He hasn’t opened any. However, just as He shut the last door, a potential door opened again in Missouri, where we originally felt we were supposed to move back in July.
This is the most exciting and faith-building time of our lives. We are two level-headed planners, moving without job security and a place to live. This may seem foolish (we don’t normally do this, nor would we ever unless God was directing us). This may seem unfair to our baby (nothing we haven’t already thought) too. But, if there is one thing God is showing us in this season, it’s that He doesn’t often work early, but He’s never late. He has us. He knows exactly where He wants us and He knows how to get us there. He is using every circumstance to grow our faith and draw us near to Him.
When Jesus is driving the car, we don’t always know where we are going, but we can know that we’re safe…we just have to buckle in.
Springfield, here we come. We trust you God with our lives and more importantly our baby’s life. We look forward to what you have for us and what we can learn in this season.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
